Yes, entirely. We are students and this is our research; what we learn is the “payment”. We never ask for and never accept money for the visits or the summaries.
We arrive at an agreed time and spend a few hours in the home: watching, asking questions of the caregivers and the management, taking notes — discreetly, without disturbing your work. Afterwards we send you a written summary of what we found.
We do not collect residents’ personal or health data. Our observations are anonymised and used solely for the research. We only record what you consent to, and we delete anything on request.
No. No device, no software, no installation — only conversation and observation. For the time being we do not offer any product at all.
There are three of us, students about to begin our studies in robotics and artificial intelligence. You can read more on the About us page — but the best introduction is an afternoon spent together.
We hope so — but only if the research warrants it. Right now we are at the understanding stage; hardware and software solutions are a question for the future. We do not promise deadlines we cannot keep.
